Denim Smith, Chief Executive Officer

Denim began to obsessively design Lifemap after experiencing some of life’s greatest moments, including falling in love over long distance, moving home to marry, and becoming a proud and devoted dad, as well as experiencing personal adversity that led him to question what is most important in life. After almost 3 years of designing and development, Lifemap is the family-centric personal archive that Denim envisioned and built for his family and hopes you find deep value in it for yours. Prior to founding mi Corp. Denim spent a decade as an investment banker in Canada and the US focusing on capital raising, mergers & acquisitions, and advisory work for private and public real estate companies. Denim sits on the board of trustees for TSX-V listed True North Apartment REIT and previously for GT Canada Medical Properties REIT – Canada’s first publicly traded medical office company. Denim is married and has an amazing daughter.

Mike Lada, Chief Financial Officer

Mike shares the team’s passion for delivering to its members a streamlined and functional system that will securely store and manage a family’s most important memories – especially after getting married and becoming a father of identical twin daughters! Mike started his career at KPMG LLP in the consumer markets group and from there spent the better part of a decade working with both private and public companies. Mike is a Chartered Accountant and also has an undergraduate degree in economics from the University of Western Ontario. Mike is also an active board member for Trinity College School and enjoys traveling, hockey, sailing, and spending quality time with his friends and family.
